Escapee inmate breaks house of Pastor Bingu, sent back to prison
A notorious habitual thief who escaped from Mangochi prison mid March is back in prison after he was caught stealing in a house he broke into on April 2.
Mangochi Police assistant spokesperson Amina Daudi confirmed that Esau Donald has been thrown back behind bars after he broke into the house of Pastor Isaac Bingu.
“After escaping from the prison, he was hiding within the Mangochi Town,” said Daudi.
She said after he broke into the house of the Christ Citadel cleric, Donald was caught and a fight ensued.
During the scuffle, the thief had bitten the ear of Pastor and a finger of the pastor’s son, injuring them but they managed to overpower the thief and caught him.
Donald is among the six thugs that escaped from Mangochi prison on March 20 through digging a hole in the prison toilet.
Daudi said Donald has been charged with escaping from lawful custody, burglary and theft and he is likely to serve the sentences if convicted after completing the sentences he fled before completion.

set him free, the worst criminals are we outside here, let God punish him,not we the fellow sinners.leave him he has repented and God will sort him out.
Amina Daudi does not deserve life but must be sorted out quickly before he kills or injures many people. Just imagine injuring innocent Pastor and son. He should not be using my PAYE (Pay as you earn) to survive because he is a nuisance to the community. Deal with him wisely. This beast deserves death unless he repents.
