Matemba said the incident happened when the deceased and his colleagues were assigned to rectify an electric fault at a certain pole near a customers house.
βIn the course of duty, Masambira (now deceased) accidentally touched a live wire as a result he was electrocuted and died on the spot,β she said.
βThe deceased’s body was removed from the pole by fellow workers and taken to St. Montfort Mission Hospital for postmortem and it was established that death was due to electrocution,β added Matemba.

Sad, very sad!
So sad. Rest in Peace young man. You did’nt deserve such death. May the good Lord console the bereaved family
RIP. Why can’t companies introduce safety procedures like ‘Permit to Work’, whereby every thing is isolated, verified and checked again by a different person. One only starts work when he has a signed ‘Permit to Work’. We to start these companies for not having proper safety procedures.
ESCOM must be at fault for not providing appropriate and adequate PPE.
This may expose ESCOM further concerning inadequate/improper training they give to their FAULTS TEAM.
COMPENSATION LOOMS
MAY HIS SOUL REST IN ETERNAL PEACE πΉππΎ
May Jehovah God grant the family and all affected the comfort that He only can give in Jesus’s Mighty Name.
Amen
