J S Banda in the article is absolutely correct in what he says. APM is seeking re-election under false pretences unless he comes to grips with corruption. He has already had four years to do so and has done/achieved nothing. He only has a few months left to stem the endemic corruption in his government.

The challenge is that Malawians are just too inert to hold its political leaders accountable. In fact they will clap their hands for those political leaders that are taking away their children lives. They will even defend them with their lives. Current crops of politicians know this and thats why they would act with impunity with no fear for being imprisoned. Malawians minds are still in shackles created by Kamuzu Banda who created a polarised society. I regret to be among the moving corpses. Eiiisssshhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!. Indeen we are moving corpses and I strongly believe these politicians can even decide to sell us but we can not act. I am one of the Zombies in the world.
