Evirom coach Nankhuni set to join rivals Max Bullets
The Southern Region Football Association (SFRA) lower division side Max Bullets are said to be chasing services of experienced coach Aubrey Nankhuni who is currently coach for rival side Evirom FC.
Max, who finished third in the Premier Division, want to rope in Nankhuni following the departure of MacDonald Yobe who is reported to have joined Super League relegated side Blantyre United.
Nankhuni is an experienced coach who has assisted Charles Manda at the now defunct ESCOM United. He has spent a season at Evirom and under his tutelage, Evirom finished fifth.
Both Nankhuni and Max Bullets owner Maxwell Kapanda were not available for comment but a source close to the coach told Nyasa Times that discussions between the two parties are at an advanced stage.
According to SFRA chairman Raphael Humba, the lower league which is now sponsored by Nsejjere is expected to kickoff on April 17.
