FA Malawi Veep, SG in Mexico for Fifa Congress
Football Association of Malawi (FAM) Second Vice President Othaniel Hara and General Secretary Suzgo Nyirenda are in Mexico for the world governing body Fifa Congress.


Hara and Waya has led the delegation at the newly elected Fifa President Gianni Infantino’s maiden congress since he was elected in February this year.
Hara said the Malawi FA president Walter Nyamilandu would have led the delegation but work commitment made it impossible for him to go.
He said Confederation of African Football (CAF) members including Malawi met on Wednesday.
It was a memorable occasion for Hara who brushed shoulders with the legendary soccer stars and coaches.
“We had CAF meeting afterwards all delegates from all federations were invited to a stadium to a stadium cocktail,” Hara said.
“A game was played between Fifa and all Stars against Mexico All Stars and Mourinho led the Fifa All Stars.”
He said FIFA All Stars who included Cameroon legend Samuel Eto’o, Portugal’s Figo and Brazil’s Ronadinho.
Hara and Nyirenda are expected to return home on Sunday through Amsterdam, Netherlands, Nairobi in Kenya before landing home
