‘I felt good to score against Wanderers’: Nkacha cherishes KB’s win

Kamuzu Barracks and former Flames international attacker Harvey Nkacha who scored a brace to crush Mighty Be Forward Wanderers TNM Super League top four finish hopes says he felt very good after scoring a brace against Lali Lubani outfit on Sunday at the Civo Stadium in Lilongwe.

Kamuzu Barracks beat Wanderers 2-1 to maintain their fifth spot on the log table and now have 37 points from 21 games.
Nkacha told Nyasa Times that it was a special treat as it was his first time to score against Be Forward Wanderers since joining the soldiers outfit.

“It felt very good scoring those two  goals because it was only Wanderers which I had never scored against since I came to K.B” said Nkacha.

He said it was a sweet revenge after the Nomads beat them  in two previous games-a league and cup game.

Said Nkacha: “I was happy to punish them after those two defeats in the league and cup at the Kamuzu stadium; it was a pay back time”

Though the title race has reached the climax and critical stage, the forgotten Flames attacker believes his team can earn a top four finish and even win the championship.

“If we continue perfoming the way we are doing, I can see us cementing ourselves in the top four and you never know with the way things are going maybe even challenging for the tittle but its too early to say we can win the league we just have to keep our heads up and take each game serious and collect maximum points”.concluded Nkacha.

Kamuzu Barracks have so far made a record by registering six straight wins in the second round of the most competative 2016-17 TNM Super League.
