Fount  For Nations to host Arts Auction Festival in Lilongwe: In aid of KCH

Fount for Nations, a Non-Governmental Organisation in partnership with other companies and individuals have organised an Arts Auctioning Festival aimed at raising funds for the renovation of learning and activity centre at Kamuzu central Hospital in Lilongwe.

According to the Organisations Public Relations Officer Francesco John Mpambe, the event is scheduled to take place on 22nd September 2018 at Ulendo Safaris located in Area 10, Lilongwe starting from 9:30am to 1:00pm.

“It will be a fun morning of celebrating diversity through Art where Art work made by the children at Kamuzu Central Hospital (KCH) will be on sale and auctioned in order to fund-raise for renovations of a Learning and Activity center at the hospital and we have teamed up with so many companies and individuals to make this a success” said Mpambe.

According to Mpambe, his organisation is planning to raise K20 Million to fulfill its mission of fully renovating the KCH Learning and Activity Centre.

“We are therefore calling upon all Malawians of good will to come and give us support on this day for the betterment of a Malawian child who has special needs” he said.

Other partners in organising the art auctioning event include Concept creative, Eye Level Art Malawi,Mkanda, Afrocentric Lifestyle, Zaluso Arts, Mkoko among others.

Fount For Nations  is a registered NGO contributing highly to the provision of education for all by meeting the learning needs of primary special needs children.

Its main goal is t make sure that no child is left behind in Malawi’s education system.

So far, Fount for Nations has managed to reach out to over 31,480 people during its three years of existence and it is operating in all the three regions of Malawi.
