The Football Association of Malawi (FAM) on Thursday released the 2015 soccer calendar that showed that the domestic premiership would kick off in April.
FAM competitions officer Gomezgani Zakazaka said Thursday that the calendar has almost 69 fixtures, including international games, Super League ties, Under-20 matches, beach soccer and women football events.
“We will make sure that these events are followed without fail in this year. Some of the events on the calendar are starting in April like the Super, Regional, Under-20 and Women’s Leagues,” he said.
Last year’s calendar worked well except for some few problems such as delay to start the Presidential Cup due to some logistical issues, he said.
