Frank, Dave Banda recalled in Malawi squad to face South Africa

The Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has released names of Flames players expected to travel to South Africa to play strength-testing match against Bafana Bafana at Moses Mabhida Stadium on December 22.

The squad, which is expected to leave on Monday, December 17, has six foreign-based players from South Africa, Angola and Mozambique.

Also included in the team are Dave Banda and Frank Banda (not related) who were dropped for the CECAFA tournament in Uganda three weeks ago for allegedly sneaking out of camp at Chiwembe Technical Centre in Blantyre.

They have been recalled after appearing for a disciplinary hearing on Monday.

Maintained from the CECAFA squad is exciting midfielder Micium Mhone, Moses Chavula, Foster Namwela, Charles Swini, John Lanjesi, Steve Chagoma and Joseph Kamwendo.
