Ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) vice president (North) Goodall Gondwe and Regional Governor (North) Kenneth Sanga have dismissed the revamp movement of once mighty north party, Alliance For Democrcay (Aford).
Gondwe, who is also Finance Minister, said Aford cannot counter the strength of DPP in the north.
He said the revamp movement is only a gimmick for the leaders to enrich themselves.
Speaking when President Peter ,utharik alunched the Mzimba Urban Integrated Water and Sanitation, Project at the boma, Gondwe said people should disregard messages coming from Aford and othe parties as “hot air.”
On his part Sanga said Aford is already dead and cannot be rescucitated.
“We have a certain ant, nyenje that makes a lot of noise during summer , but it has a very thin skin. You have people in Aford that say they want to revamp the party, and then you have Freedom Party ( of Khumbo Kachali), they are all garbage, they are just making a lot of noise line Nyenje.”Follow and Subscribe Nyasa TV :
