GOtv Netball Champions league rocks Mzuzu City

After taking a break for three weeks the 2017 GOtv Netball Challenge League is now back with an entertaining fixture released on Wednesday by the Malawi’s netball mother body Netball Association of Malawi (NAM).

The second round fixture which is expected to be played on Saturday-Sunday (September 16-17) at Katoto netball court in Mzuzu
will be opened with eight games on Saturday while on Sunday netball  lovers will have a chance of watching five games only.

Mzuzu based giants Mimosa Sisters will play the opening match againstcentral region Mpico netball champions Blue Eagles Sisters.

SATURDAY

Mimosa Vs Blue Eagles— 11:00AM

Mafco Vs Tigresses—11:45AM

Mimosa Vs Lameck Sisters— 12:30PM

Civonets Vs Kukoma—13:15PM

Thunder Vs Blue Eagles— 15:00PM

Lameck Vs Tigresses— 15:45PM

Mimosa Vs Thunder Queens—16:30PM

Mafco Vs Kukoma Diamonds— 17:15PM

 

SUNDAY

Lameck Sisters Vs Civonets—11:45AM

Tigresses Vs Blue Eagles— 12:30PM

Kukoma Diamonds Vs Mimosa Queens—13:15PM

Civonets Vs Thunder Queens— 14:00PM

Lameck Sisters Vs Mafco Soldiers— 14:45PM

GOtv final round will be played in Lilongwe where teams will receive their prizes.

Netball Association of Malawi (NAM) general secretary Carlo Bapu said they are happy with the way teams are playing in the league.

“So far we can say that the league is progressing well and we are happy,” she said.

The GOTV Netball champions’ league is played in the FAST5 format.
