Why are they choosing the deadline of 21 May? Maybe they know that Mutharika and his DPP idiots are busy packing.

If you have worked with chaps, they are far from having the necessary skills for their jobs. You give them assignments, they take ages to execute them if they will not come up with excuses to avoid doing it. They also lack manners. They are not serious and will be a waste to employ them without interviews. If there are vacancies, open them up for eligible people to compete

@9189, interns are making cardinal errors here. We can only equate them to students. This is internship here. At some point it has to end. The government may advertise jobs whenever need arises, then people have to apply then go for interviews then get hired or not. These interns want to give the president and govt issues because it’s an election year. Kulakwa uku. Let’s not connect the two. Do you just wake up and employ 5000 people? Kulidi zochita? What are the repurcussions?

I don’t get this. The president has helped you so much here. Whatelse do you want? You really want to be employed without undergoing even interviews? Wait! Vacancies will pop up. You will apply and if you are successful you will be Hired. In between master the work! Each and every year Malawi produces graduates. You aren’t the first ones or the last. Learn the trade, look for oppotunies elsewhere and then your friends will also come for internship. This country is now producing very dull kids.

The whole prgramme is a nuisance. Sometimes political leaders invite problems for nothing. You can see that the so call interns do not demonstrate apppreciation for the rare opportunity that government offered them. It is clear that the interns are rude and do not know that the government has already cut budget on important sectors to support the program. The best government would do now is to quickly drop this costly program to avoid a repeat of FISP scenario. It should be noted that some programs are self damaging.

In the first place, it is APM administration that had introduced the internship programme. Ndiye mukamati ngwengwengwengwe mukutanthauza chani? In fact APM had just made it to say you be there for 2 years instead of 1 year. Koma munthu sadzatheka basi. Secondly, the Intern students had signed a contract with govt on the same. Nyasatimes, did these students show you their contracts? Now, the APM had promised to employ them by 1st July, 2019. I guess after budget is passed. Do you want to be employed and fo several months without salary? Inu amene musakufuna kugwira ntchito siyani ndipo… Read more »
