High five Nomads secure FISD Cup  quarter-final bert: To face Zolozolo Utd

Striker Peter Wadabwa scored a brace and each goal from Jabulani Linje, Khumbo Ng’ambi and Mike Kaziputa respctively has earmed Be Forward Wanderers a place in the quarter-finals of o the FISD Challenge Cup after they thumped Chipiku Stores Central Region Football Association DivisionOne side Lake Valley in a mid-week match that was played at Civo stadium.

The Nomad,  who came into the match as clear favourites,  controlled the proceedings from the first whistle to full regulation time as Wadabwa scored a beauty from Kaziputa cross after five minutes of play before he doubled it after ten minutes to put the Nomads into a comfortable lead.

Midfielder Jabulani Linje scored third goal minutes after second half kick off . This was after a move that was started by Joseph Kamwendo and beautiful passes with Rafiq Namwera.

Coach Yasin Osman made some changes removing Namwera for Enerst Tambe before taking out Kamwendo for Khumbo Ng’ambi who scored just five minutes  after his introduction before Kaziputa headed fifth goal from Jimmy Zakazaka.

Lake Valley tactician Abbas Makawa conceded defeat but aplauuded his charges for showing their capability by keeping Nomads in the game with fine passes and runs

His counterpart, Yasin Osman said the blues are aiming at the FISD glory.

Nomads now faces Northern region lower league side Zolozolo which was the first team to reach in the last 8 of the cup after they beat Dwangwa Town Hammers on Sunday.
