Football administrator Mike Mabvuto Missi has denied being part of Football Association of Malawi (FAM) president Macmillan Walter Nyamilandu Manda’s terror campaign against critics and competitors for his fourth term bid for the FAM presidency.
Missi told Nyasa Times on Saturday that he is not party to the terror campaign and exonerated his name from the list of Nyamilandu’s errand boys.
“I’m a devoted Christian and I don’t like seeing people fighting at the same time I’m a true democrat who respects the rule of law,” said Missi, denying a report that said he was sent by the FAM president to give an MBC journalist money to soften his heart after he was assaulted.
“I’ve never quarrelled with anyone in my life and I don’t wish to do so at any given time,” he added.
“I’m not Walter’s boy or whatsoever and I’ve got nothing to do with his tactics. I’ve never been with him ever since he started his campaign and I’m always busy with my day to day work every day,” said Missi.
Missi said he would not engage himself in “nasty and bad behaviour.”Follow and Subscribe Nyasa TV :
