Innobuild partners Simama in NRFL sponsorship

Innobuild Limited has come out to partner Bishop Abraham Simama in sponsoring the Northern Region Football League.

The deal was sealed on Sunday at Innobuild offices in the city of Mzuzu.

The second-tier league which was at 5 million Kwacha will now be at 10 million Kwacha since Innobuild has also pumped in 5 million Kwacha.

With this development, the league has changed its name from SIMSO Premier League to SIMSO Innobuild Premier League.

Chairperson for Northern Region Football Association (NRFA), Dr Lameck Khonje, told Nyasa Times the association will provide a platform where Innobuild will market their products.

“In our agreement with Innobuild, NRFA will provide a platform for Innobuild to market their products. We will make sure that the two sponsors appear on our official documents and on every message that NRFA will be sending out there.

“The executive will sit down to make adjustments to the prizes for the league and we may also think of increasing packages to other categories,” explained Dr Khonje.

Northern Region Branch Manager for Innobuild Limited, Gift Nyasulu, said he was excited with the partnership.

“This is not our first partnership with NRFA. We know how they behave in terms of business. We feel we have a role in developing football. This partnership is open ended so that we may keep on renewing it depending on performance,” Nyasulu said.

Innobuild Limited sales land to Malawians at affordable prices. The league has this year been extended to Likoma Island.
