Summarising the event in an interview with Nyasa Times, president of IIM Lilongwe Chapter Denis Mzokomera described this year’s event as successful.

“We are greatly satisfied with the way things have gone. We had participants from all the insurance companies in Lilongwe including brokers, agents and our garages. The main focus was not on competition but fostering interaction and relationships between members from our member insurance organisations,” said Mzokomera.

The IIM Lilongwe Chapter president hailed the insurance organisations for sponsoring the event to the tune of K1.2 million.

Games that were played this year included football, netball, tug of war, pool, chess, bawo, volleyball, sack race, bottle race and athletics.
