Robin Hau whose unique talent has already caught the attention of thousands of fans across Malawi and beyond released his debut single “Wa Ine” on February 6th 2017.

The follow up single “Phewa Dance” whose video has had a massive response after its release, continues buzzing on the local scene.

“The “Phewa Dance” video concept is simple but creative. It’s about the shoulder dance that is portrayed in the video. It was shot by Ron Cz,” Hau explained.

Born on the 3rd of June in 1992, in Blantyre Malawi, Robin Hau’s musical journey started at the early age of 9.

By the age of 17 Robin was already on his way to becoming one of the best lyricist, singer, songwriter and rapper that he is today. It was right around this time that he also fell in love with beat making after acquiring a beat making software (FL Studio 5) and this has now become one of the many parts of Robin’s multifaceted musical career and it also contributes to why Robin is a uniquely certified musical force.

“What began as the love of drums at the 9 year old, I used to practice playing drums after church on Sundays, turned into a passion for music that grew along with me,” he explained.

At only age 25 he has already worked with some of the biggest names in production on the local music scene such as Henry Sauzande, Twin Beats, Daredevils and Manje on some of his earlier projects which were done under the stage name Venom.

Following the progression in his career Robin decided to authentically communicate his life to his audience and he changed his stage name to his birth name.
