Is this end of Tonse Alliance? Another partner, Kamuzu Chibambo’s PETRA, attacks Chakwera for lack of development
Just few days after Aford announced to go solo in 2025 elections, another alliance partner in the Tonse Alliance, People’s Transformation Party (Petra) has attacked President Lazarus Chakwera saying he is solely responsible for lack of development in the country.
Petra officials say the country’s deteriorating development is because it lacks visionary leadership.
The remarks have been made by the party’s general secretary, Boniface Nyenyezi, at the official launch of the party’s website on Saturday.
The launch was graced by Kamuzu Chibambo, president of Petra.
In his remarks, Nyenyezi, said although the country is considered the poorest country in the world it has the potential to develop.
He said Malawi can be better and do better, having all the required resources to develop, which include – human resource, natural resources among others.
Meanwhile, the website is aimed at facilitating easy access to information.
