Jabulani Linje rejects  Silver move: ‘ I am happy at Wanderers’

Silver Strikers target Jabulani Linje has admitted he “laughs” at rumours linking him with a move away from Be Forward Wanderers.

Linje: I am a happy Nomad

Nyasa Times understands the bankers were hoping to lure the former Civo United star to Area 47, but thoughts of a move away from Lali-Lubani have been well and truly shelved by Linje, who hopes to agree a new long-term deal with Wanderers.

“People can say what they want. I love Wanderers, I’m at Wanderers and if I can stay all my life at Lali -Lubani, then I will. In fact I laugh about it with my my friends.

“I’m a starter for the best club in the country. I am happy; it’s that simple,” he told Nyasa Times.

Silver Strikers general secretary Thabo Chakaka was quoted in The Nation Newspaper hinting that the bankers will lure some big names at Wanderers.

The Nomads general secretary Mike Butao assured their fans not to lose sleep over reports about imminent departure of some key players.

Silver Strikers and Be Forward Wanderers are crossing swords  following the bankers captain Lucky Malata joining the Nomads.

Reports are also linking the Nomads star Joseph Kamwendo to join the bankers having being offered K9 million.

However, the Nomads have warned the bankers to follow proper procedures stating Kamwendo has a running contract with Wanderers.

Football Association of Malawi Transfer Manager Casper Jangale was quoted in the media pleading with Wanderers and Kamwendo to resolve their differences amicably, since the player has a running contract with his club.

Nyasa Times also understands that Kamwendo’s contract will end in 2019.
