JB appoints MANEB Board, Fabiano is chair
President Joyce Banda on Thursday appointed new board members for the Malawi National Examinations Board.
According to the press statement, section 5 of MANEB Act gives the president powers to appoint members to run the operations of the board.
Vice Chancellor of the University of Malawi, Emmanuel Fabiano has been appointed as the chairperson of the board.
Among the people who have been appointed includes, Morgan Tembo, Mrs. Ruth Lemani and Dr. Nellie Mbano.
Wilson Nkhoma, Dr. Mwapasa Mipando and Mrs. Violent Ng’oma are also part of the board members appointed together with Bishop James Tengatenga and Mrs. Jean Chikumbanje.
“The appointments are with effect from 10th August,” the press statement reads.
