Kaliati offers Mzuzu women ‘sex tips: Malawi minister slurs ex-First Gentleman
Minister of Gender Patricia Kaliati Wednesday took advantage of her political whistle stop tour in Chibanja ward, aimed at mobilizing support for Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) aspirant George Manda, and lectured women on the importance of giving “good sex” to the husbands.
Like in a classroom, Kaliati said it was because Malawian women were not free with their husbands that the men were “outsourcing the same services elsewhere.”
She told hundreds of women at Mbawemi Women’s Group, a community based centre that has an orphan care and also supports vulnerable children in Chibanja, that couples must “be open to each other.”
Kaliati repeatedly said women must offer “good sex,” adding “sex must be done with lights on and candles light on.”
The Minister said couples should strive for adventurous moments to enjoy the sexual life.
Added Kaliati: “Don’t eat in the dark.”
The minister, who survived cabinet shake-up by President Peter Mutharika on Monday, did not spare men saying they “leave the best in their homes and eat rot from elsewhere.”
She advised couples to go for Voluntary Counselling and Testing (VCT) frequently in order to curb the HIV/AIDS pandemic.
“If we’re HIV positive, let us be good enough and make sure that it ends on us. Let us make our next generation HIV free. Let us love our children and children’s children,” she advised.
She said women must go for regular screenings for cervical cancer, to avoid excessive damage.
Returning to men, Kaliati accused former president Joyce Banda’s husband of not setting a good example to fellow men when he was the country’s first gentleman.
“He did not even organize bawo for fellow men to play so that they don’t rape our minors,” said Kaliati.
She commended present first lady Gertrude Mutharika for the Beautify Malawi (Beam) project, saying that is what “first gentlemen and ladies in this country must do.”
Talking politics, Kaliati reiterated DPP regional governor Kenneth Sanga’s calls that people of Chibanja must “vote a DPP candidate or forget about development in the region.”

Ya well she made point she is bringing Tsimba right in the door steps of the Northern women Who by her understanding they are lacking sexual orientation but waste much time on Education. Good thinking Madam minister.
Why should Richard Banda teach bawo at all. This is something that does not exist in his village at all. It reminds me of the teaching nyau paradox leveled against northern teachers in the late ’80s by the then ruling MCP. Why use a similar useless allegory again against the same people you want to victimize once again?
