Kandodo denies desire to quit PP for MCP

Defence Minister Ken Kandodo   has denied that he is looking to quit People’s Party for the Malawi Congress Party (MC),
after reports suggested he had already been in contact with MCP president Dr Lazarous Chakwera.

In an interview with Nyasa Times, Kandodo has since moved to dismiss speculation, insisting he is happy at his current party.

“I am 100 percent PP and I will remain as such. I am going nowhere,” he said.

Strong rumours linked Kandodo, Lands and Housing Minister John Bande and Mining minister Henry Phoya with intentions to join MCP.

However, Bande swiftly  denied any move to MCP, saying he wouldn’t ride the gravy train.
