Lucius Banda in 2016 farewell show to Balaka fans
Fresh from South Africa where he was invited to perform at an International Reggae Fest over two weeks ago, Soldier Lucius Banda has organized a final show before the year ends for his home fans.
The celebrated musician who also serves as Parliamenterian for Balaka North together with his Zembani Band has lined up three live music performances over the weekend.
The tour that will take him through to Dwangwa in Nkhotakota and Mzuzu starts this Friday at his home base-Balaka at the Zembani Lodge.
He will then on Saturday perform at Arnolds Lodge in Dwangwa before completing the tour at Squirrels Park located at the heart of Mzuzu City in the Northern Region.
Zembani Band Administrative Manager Johnny Banda confirmed the performances with Nyasatimes on Thursday.
Banda urged all the fans to patronise the shows in large numbers to where they will be treated to a lively and incredible perfomance.
The two shows [At Zembani and Arnolds Lodges] are expected to start at 8:00pm while the Mzuzu show will start at 2:00pm according to an advertisement aired on local radio stations.
As usual, soldier as Lucius is fondly called by his followers will be accompanied by Nepman, Lambani Dube and Sam Smack.
Only at Squirrels show in Mzuzu, the list will include advisor ‘Phungu’ Joseph Nkasa.
