Lucius Banda’s ‘Crimes’ album to be released in August

Malawi’s legendary music super star Lucius Banda famously called Soldier has finally confirmed that his highly anticipated 19th album titled ‘Crimes’ will be released next month.

“Malawi get ready now Crimes album is ready for release August; date will be announced soon,” reads  Banda announcement  through social media network.

However, Banda, who is also as Member of Parliament (MP) for Balaka North, has called for support towards his new project and has since appealed to all Malawians not to illegally reproduce, purchase or share his new project.

“Much as you can get the music from your friend, but for the sake of supporting me please prepare to buy a CD just to suppport me,” said Banda.

Through his long music journey, Banda has always been on top of his game and never goofed in all his albums.

His first album was Son of a Poor Man which was recorded in South Africa in early 1990’s.

The list of his albums also include, Down Babylon, Money and Power, Enemy, Yahwe, Unity, Take Over, Time, Survivor, Cell 51, Thank you among others.

He calls himself ‘Soldier of the Poor’ because he is a voice of the voiceless.
