The legendary musician told Nyasa Times that he will perform with the full Zembani Band at four shows in Johannesburg and Pretoria.

According to Banda, his fans in South Africa should expect one of the best performances ever as this will be the first time the musician travels with all the band members.

“It’s the first time we are going there as the whole band of 13 people from Malawi. Usually we take half the band and mix with others there because of that, we used to be limited on the songs to be performed but now you name it we will play it,” said Banda.

On 28th August, Lucious will perform at Booysen Hotel starting from 7pm till late and patrons will pay R150 and will get a bonus of a free CD.

The performances will continue on 29th and 30th August at the Marafco (Pretoria) and Tijuca (Bruma) starting from 7pm and 13:00hrs respectively and at all venues, patrons will pay R100 per head.

The final show will be on 5th September, 2015 at the Amadoda Woodstock from 7pm-2am.

Apart from the soldier himself, the list of other artists to perform include the “Nalero” star Nepman, Sam Simakweli, Limbani Banda and South African based Don Zaggah.

“Thank you” is Banda’s number 18th album and carries 13 songs including Sagona currently enjoying massive air play in various local radio stations.
