With K150, Kaphesi visited a kiosk in the township to bet and scored correctly 28 games in the European Leagues.
The father of two, said he bets regularly and interestingly he plans to use the money to open a betting shop.
“I bet three times a week and this was my lucky ticket. It had always been my dream to run a betting shop and I think this is the right time. I will just have to sit down and plan on how I will go about with the idea. But this will really change my life,” he said.
PremierBet overall shops manager for the Southern Region, Wells Mita said they are delighted to have Kaphesi win such a huge amount of money.
“We always say that our aim is to transform people’s lives. Kaphesi is an example today and we would like to see more people having their lives changed through betting. Our advice remains that this is not a job. People should bet responsibly as they get entertained on the other side,” Mita said.
PremierBet brand ambassador, Peter Fote also advised agents to be strict on the access to the underaged saying that is not allowed.
Machinjiri seems to be a luckiest side in the City, as recently the company also unveiled another businessman who won K51 million.
PremierBet has over 1000 employees, with 130 shops and over 800 agents across the country.
More encouragement of betting by Nyasa Times. How many lost than they can afford to pay for this win?
