Flames prolific striker Chiupo Msowoya scored a brace to inspire the national team to the victory.

Mtawali heaped praise at the local club for giving the national a good run for the win.

“It was a good match and I would like to thank Azam Tigers for giving us a tough game which made us to assess the condition of the players,” Mtawali said.

He also hailed Chiukepo for giving out his all to ensure the team’s victory.

The national team is preparing for a crucial Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Guinea this month both home and away.

The team regrouped three weeks ago with local based players as the foreign legion is awaiting to complete the squad.

You are true Bruce, this might be their good test than just playing with a team. it would have been good to form a team comprised of selected players not just what they are doing. they can also form a B national team.
