History in the music circle is to be made in Malawi as for the first time the country will have a magnificent state of the art mobile musical stage courtesy of long time music promoter-cum-lawyer Jai Banda who owns Entertainers Promotion Music Company.
All roads in the Capital City, Lilongwe will on Sunday 31st May, 2015 lead to the Lilongwe Golf Club where almost all top musicians in the country have been brought together to spice up the event.
According to Jai Banda, he has spent over three years to complete the whole project of assembling equipments.
He has further assured all Malawians to come in large numbers to appreciate the good work he has done and enjoy good music from their best top musicians.
“This will be one of the best shows Malawi has ever had” Banda said in an interview with a local radio station.
The list of performers include the famous Reggae group Black Missionaries, Lucius Banda and his Zembani Band, Skeffa Chimoto and Real Sounds Band, Soul Riders Band, DanLu, Lulu and the Mathumela Banda, Anthony Makondetsa among others.
Patrons need to cough only K2, 500.00 to participate at this historical and promises to be scintillating music show.
Meanwhile, the Black Missionaries Band said they are very much prepared for the show which gives them a platform to promote their new singles from latest Kuimba 10 album live to the people of Lilongwe.
“We are very much prepared and we have been preparing for the whole week knowing that this is one of the biggest shows that have never happened in Malawi” said Keybodist Chizondi Fumulani.
Commenting on the latest Kuimba 10 album, Chizondi said the album has received overwhelming response despite other people saying it is a flop.
“We would like to thank our supporters for their support and most of them have fallen in love with the track Tidzingocheza” said the gifted Keybodist.
He said this was witnessed over the past weekend at the 15th Anniversary show for the Premier Lodge where the band performed where the song was played four times by public demand.
Kuimba 10 is being produced by Amos Mlolowa of Active Studio in Blantyre and is expected to be on the Market in July.
At the mean time four promotional singles Sikwathu, Mudzaweruze, Sindingakwanitse and Tidzingocheza are enjoying massive airplay.
