Malawi FA opts for advance ticket sales in Guinea reverse fixture
Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has underlined the need to push for advance ticket sales.
FAM commercial Director Limbani Matola said the Open Stands K1,000, MBC Stands K2,000, Covered Stands K5,000 while VIP K10,000.
Matola said the advance tickets sales for the return Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Guinea on Tuesday next week at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre would start on Friday.
But those who would buy on the day of the game Tuesday should prepare to pay more with Open Stands going at K2000, MBC Stands K3,500, Covered Stands K6,000 while VIP Stands will be K12,000.
“The tickets for the game against Guinea were available on Thursday but the sales would be effected on Friday. It should also be noted that those who will not buy the tickets before the game should be prepared to pay more,” Matola said.
“We want to discourage the habit of buying tickets on the day of the game .”
Malawi against Guinea return match will be held on March 29.
