Malawi move to 94 on Fifa ranking
Malawi national soccer team the Flames has moved 15 places up the ladder—from 109 to 94—to find their way back into the double-digit bracket in the latest Fifa Coca Cola ranking released on Thursday November 27th November, 2014.
The impressive showing in the last two matches of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers has made the Flames the second best movers in Africa after Zambia.
This month Malawi registered a 2-0 win over Mali’s Eagles who were ranked 52 places above them before holding Ethiopia to a barren draw away in Addis Ababa four days later.

This doesn’t mean anything to the Flames. Next month they will head straight back to where they belong; three digits, because of their idleness.
