Malawi Police arrest another quack doctor
The Blantyre Police is keeping in custody a man who they are yet to give out his particulars, for allegedly being found conducting in a manner that showed that he is a practicing doctor at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital.
An eye witness revealed that the man was caught Sunday in the Children (Orthopedic) Ward at the referral hospital bringing the number of fake arrested doctors to four, one at the Lilongwe Central Hospital.
While confirming of the arrest, Blantyre Police said they are not through with investigations and wold come back with particulars of the accused and any other related information.
Recently Blantyre Magistrate’s Court sentenced a bogus ‘Doctor Wongani Kumbukani Kandulu’ to six years Imprisonment with Hard Labour (IHL).
Another one, illegally using the name Dr Zizwani Mwafulirwa’s but his real name is John Ben Kamanga, was also given similar custodial sentence by the same court.
Both bogus doctors were arrested at Blantyre’s Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH) where they were reportedly pretending to work as medical doctors.

It is better government must train these guys into full doctors as they all have shown hardworking amongst real and trained doctors. The problem is too much politics to select first enrollment to the college of medicine and healthy sciences.

Iam yet to sue the govt 4 allowing these so called doctors for 4 mekng me not enjoy married life coz of practioners who cant even meet minimum stds of their work!!Christ redeem our country!!
