Malawi police nabs albino kidnapper
Malawi Police have arrested a 19 year old Joseph Andiwochi and is under custody in Machinga for allegedly kidnapping a two year old albino girl in the district.
His two accomplices Kamanga Likhutu, and Sinoya Likhutu, who kidnapped the minor at her home, at Muluku village, Sub Traditional Authority Mchinguza in the district, are still at large.
It is said that a 10 year old sister to the victim shouted for help when the kidnappers took the girl which prompted villagers to man hunt the three and apprehending Andiwochi as he tried to hide the little girl in a nearby bush.
Cases of albino kidnapping have hit headlines in Machinga and other parts of the country where they believe that some body parts of the albinos is charm for getting rich and prospering in businesses.
Human rights groups and the government has since warned that any person caught in the act will be dealt with accordingly.
These kidnappers whenever should just be given death sentence, eye for an eye.
