The sides were tied 29-29 at half-time but Wales failed to stay in touch with Malawi Queens , who are two places above them in the world rankings.

Malawi will face South Africa in the 5th/6th place play-off match.

Peace Chawinga- Kalua, head coach for Malawi Queens, said from Sydney  that the game against South Africa will be a “blood bath”.

“We are facing our rivals and so much on stake in that game,” said Peace.

“But God is great we will do wonders,” she added.

At stake is the fifth position in the world as well as champions of Africa.

The final will be between Australia and New Zealand, with England facing Jamaica in the bronze medal match, all to be played on Sunday.

    1. Only K100,000, that’s really peanuts. Not even enough to buy a good tablet and I think they deserve better than that. Probably get them some fixed assets, like a plot each in a region of choice worth over MK800,000.00
