Malawi State House now on Facebook officially

The official residence of the President of the Republic of Malawi has made the leap into the digital era by setting up an account on a leading social media platform, Facebook.

The  State House Malawi page  was announced on Wednesday  by State House Press Officer Brian Banda to journalists on their Misa-Malawi internet chat forum asking the media practitioners to “like” the new page.

“Just to inform you that State House has now a Facebook page. We will use the page to alert you of functions involving the Presidency including the media releases,” Banda informed.

The page administrators uploaded a picture of President Banda  of Wednesday’s  function which she elevated Traditional Authority Chiwalo into Senior Chief at a function that took place at Dindi Grounds in Phalombe as presidential diary.
