Malawi U-17 leave for Cosafa  tournament in Mauritius

Malawi Under 17 football team will on Wednesday  leave for Mauritius to participate at Cosafa Under 17 Tournament.

The 25-man delegation will be led by Football Association of Malawi’s Rashid Ntelera.

Malawi face Madagascar on 22 June, Zambia June 24 and Kenya on June 26 in the group stages.

The following is the full squad under the tutelege of Blue Eagles Coach Deklerk Msakakuona.

Goalkeepers; Patrick Njolomole, Emmanuel Kanthiti, Hastings Katoma Banda.

Defenders; Innocent Shema, Moses Chipanda Jnr, Anthony Msisya, Bernald Kayange, Hadji Wali, Gift Phiri, Chimango Kalinga, Henry Chiwaya, Lexpart Sumaili.

Midfielders; George Chifundo, Peter Banda, Francisco Madinga, Lawrence Chikhosi And Chikondi Mbeta,

Strikers: Frank Chizuze and Raphael Banda

Head Coach; Deklerk Msakakuona Assistant Coach; Tione Mhone, Team Manager Michael Moffat Banda, Goalkeeper Trainer Hethwin Nkumbalaza, Medical Doctor, Kondwani Chipanda.

How can you take two strikers to a whole tournament. How will you bring ideas of changing a game. What if one of them is injured you mean you can’t find all east 3 strikers in the whole of Malawi. I can see you prepared to come back in group stages. Any way.
