Malawi U-20 face Zambia in Caf tourney

Malawi national football Under-20 face Zambia in the third round and final qualifying round of the Africa Youth Championship.

Malawi beat DRC 3-1 on goal aggregate to advance to the third aftet a one-all draw at Kamuzu Stadium before a vital 2-0 away victory in Kinshasa on Friday.

The Zambia has sailed through to the final round of the 2015 Senegal African Youth Championships after beating Mozambique 2-0 at Nkoloma stadium in Lusaka.

The Young Chipolopolo had a crucial 2-0 away victory and completed the job with another in Nkolama Stadium to book a date with the Junior Flames.

Spencer Sautu scored in the 65th minute before Patrick Ngoma’s late strike gave Zambia a 4-0 aggregate win.

The first leg games are scheduled for the weekend of August 15th to 17th while the second leg games are scheduled between August 29th to 31, 2014.

Nigeria, Ghana, Gabon, Egypt, Libya and Togo are the other countries that have qualified to the final rounds.

The Senegal 2015 African Under-20 Championship will be the 20th edition of the continental youth football tournament and will see semifinalists participate in the 2015 Under-20 New Zealand World Cup
