Malawian boy faces death sentence in Malaysia

An underage Malawi national was charged with drug trafficking in Malasyia and faces death sentence.

The Malawian teenage boy was charged if trafficking 4.3kg of methamphetamine at the magistrate’s court on Thursday.

The 17-year-old allegedly committed the offence at the international arrival hall of the Penang International Airport in Malaysia at about 10.30am on Oct 5, 2013.

However, The Sun Daily newspaper did not reveal the details of the boy purportedly because he is a minor.
