Malawian queue to pay for DSTV over Big Brother Stargame

Dstv subscribers on Saturday in the commercial city of Malawi, Blantyre queued inoder to pay  their monthly subscription ahead of the much anticipated season 7 of Big Brother Africa starting Sunday, May 6 2012 in South Africa.

Josephine Chimbewu,  a residence of Manja Township told Nyasa Times that she had no option than to subscribe because she couldn’t miss the Stargame.

“I have been waiting for this big day, and l cannot wait to watch the show on Sunday,” said Chimbeweu.

Another customer, Geoffery Banda, from Nkolokosa Township was of the views that people always try their best not to miss this reality show by making sure to subscribe even at the eleventh hour.

“I had to spare the little money l had inoder not to miss this show. I came here around 8 o’clock in the morning knowing that many people would flock here to pay their subscription,” said Banda.

To pay for DSVT ahead of Big Brother

This year’s show Star game winner will go home with a whooping of Us$300,000after 91 days of competition.

Malawi has never won this competition since its inception having sent the likes of Zein Duda, Tendai Namate aka DJ Lomwe from FM 101, Felicia Ngoma, Hazel Warren, Mzamose Chirambo and Code Sangala.

However, Malawians are optimistic that this year will be the turn for ‘Warm of Heart of Africa.’

According to the organizers, M-Net this year’s show will have 53 cameras and 120 microphones capturing and transmitting live 24/7.
