Malawians adamant of a Wati-Nafe win despite eviction threat

As Wati and Nafe’s parents fly to South Africa to be part and parcel of the coming Sunday’s eviction show, Malawian fans insist their two representatives will survive the ouster. They were nominated last week alongside neighbours, Zambia’s Tamara and Talia.

Posting in the Facebook group, Nafe and Wati in BBA Stargame – Vote Wisely, they maintain the 22-year old close cousins will either make it to Upville or survive eviction.

Leah Rachel Harawa Mbwindi posted: “Wati and Nafe all the way! Right behind u boys, bring the moolah home”, as Leonard Moyo believed Wati is multi-talented.

Wati and Nafe

“I hope Nafe will be saved and rise and outdo every housemate in Upville!” he expressed hope.

“Wati and Nafe first to the Upville and then for the money!!!!” screamed Ellen Mtelekesya Ntasa.

The Malawian duo alongside the Zambian counterparts are part of the few Southern Africans left in the House, and this is the first time they have been nominated for possible eviction.

Speaking during a video-session for Wati and Nafe’s parents, cousins and friends, Multichoice Malawi’s branch manager/marketing, Titania Katenga Kaunda expressed all the hope that the cousins were coming our victorious, after wading their way through the weeks.

“We are apparently going to release their T-shirts soonest and spread them around as prizes for those who vote the most to rescue our boys. These representatives are better than many in the House and they deserve to come back with the top prize,” she said in Lilongwe last Saturday.

Botswana chick, DaisyMmagwe Katlo Kana Zozo’smummy Selato also threw her support on Wati and Nafe. From two weeks back, she has been posting her support for Malawi in particular. She says she wants Southern Africa to win the top prize.

“I am from Botswana and will definately vote 4 ur boys when they r up esp Wati,” she wrote, “SADC should take the money this year.” Today Wednesday she posted that she was doing exactly as promised, asting her vote for Wati and Nafe at every hour.

“I am doing as I promised,” she claimed.

Nafe’s mother who was out in Zambia said she was positive her son would do better as she prepared to fly to South Africa for the show this Sunday. She revealed Wati’s mother, who was already in South Africa on business, has cancelled her flight back to Lilongwe to be part of the exciting event. Alongside the two proud mothers, Nafe’s sister Ayanja Emerald will be at hand to watch as her brother and cousin evade eviction this Sunday.

Meanwhile Multichoice’s Kaunda revealed the company has promised exciting surprise prizes for those who score highly in voting for Wati and Nafe to stay in the House.

Voting is key at this point.  One can vote through the website www.africamagic.tv/bigbrother, Wapsite, Twitter and send goodwill messages on the strapline.

Fans can also vote using M Airtel and TNM by using the shortcode 15626 and use the same code to send lots of goodwill messages.

Will Malawi escape the chop? Africa will decided, but Malawi will not allow that, perhaps!
