Malawians, time to apply for Big Brother Africa Season 7 – Multichoice

Malawian aspirants that have been looking forward to apply for Africa’s number one reality TV show, Big Brother Africa (BBA), can do so now, MultiChoice Malawi has disclosed.

The seventh edition of the BBA will be hitting the screens in May 2012 and the country’s digital satellite television (DStv) service provider has said aspiring contestants said entry forms are now available.

“Forms are now available at MultiChoice offices,” disclosed Chimwemwe Nyirenda, MultiChoice Malawi sales and marketing manager for the Southern Region.

Nyirenda: Forms now available

In this year’s season, housemates will enter the 91-day BBA house in pairs and according to Nyirenda applicants will have to apply together they will be auditioned as two friends or couples.

He told Nyasa Times: “It’s just one form for two (pair) which means applicants will fill together, enter together and auditioned together.”

“They should choose carefully because it’s a double and [the] right combination will work [for Malawi]. Applicants should pick someone they can play the game together and stick together.

“For example if they feel they can do it [better] with their cousin compared to sister they should pick the cousin,” advised Nyirenda.

Auditions

Meanwhile, MultiChoice Malawi has said the dates for auditions will be announced “probably in March” as indicated by Nyirenda.

Winners of the 2012 BBA season will go home with a whooping USD 300 000 (approximately K50.7 million).
