Bapu was elected last Saturday in Gaborone, Botswana where the 2015 African Netball Championship competition was being hosted and Malawi withdrew its participation.

According to Nyika Sports, Bapu is “delighted” to be appointed to her new continental position.

She said the appointment was an advantage to the Malawi nation as it will be easy to present grievances hindering Malawi netball as well as accessing several opportunities that will transform the game of netball in the country.
