Malawi’s stars Ngalande, Chiukepo to sign for South Africa University clubs

Malawian international striker Robin Ngalande  who was until recently Spanish giants Atletico Madrid player is in South Africa  training with the Wits University club as he aims to secure a deal with the Premier Soccer  League side.

According to Soccer Laduna report, the teenage sensational striker started training with the Braamfontein-based side last week, at Sturrock Park.

The report quoting unnamed source said a deal has been agreed to and is imminent, however it could be influenced by the appointment of the new coach.

Ngalande: At Wits.

“He is doing very well at training and I think they have already signed him but I cannot clearly say whether he has signed or not. It will all be seen when the new coach arrives. But from the look of things he will be signing for Wits before the start of the season,” said the source, quoted by the football news magazine.

Chiukepo move

Meanwhile, the magazine also reported that Malawi’s Orlando Pirates striker Chiukepo Msowoya is training with the University of Pretoria.

“Chiukepo Msowoya is in Pretoria for a trial at Tuks. He arrived yesterday (Wednesday) coming from Malawi and went straight to Tuks on his arrival. He started training with them this morning. I think Pirates want to loan him again but to Tuks this time,” said the source, according to the report.

Msowoya is hoping to make an impact in the PSL, having failed to do so since his arrival back in 2010/11, when he signed for Pirates. His contract with Bucs will expire in 2013.
