Malopa in Scottish swagga at Malawi DPP convention

Former MBC chief executive officer Bright Malopa who is now based in South Africa stole the show when appeared at Malawi’s former ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) convention currently underway in Blantyre.

Malopa, believed to be one of the strategists for Peter Mutharika the DPP leader, appeared dressed in full Scottish attire.

Different dignitaries both local and international are also in attendance among them the British high commissioner and deputy Chinese Ambassador.

UDF secretary general Kandi Padambo and peoples party publicity secretary Hophmally Makande are among notable figures from other political parties who are also in attendance.

One minute silence in honour of late president Bingu Wa Mutharika, founder the party was observed.

The party is holding the convention under the theme “Finding our Destiny.”
