Man arrested after wife’s sexual examination on daughter

An inquisitive wife in Blantyre on Wednesday conducted a finger index examination on a teenager daughter to prove her curiosity that her husband had quenched his lust on their daughter when the wife was away.

The woman, Mary Chilakolako, had briefly gone out of the house and upon return got surprised to discover strange wet marks and smells on the trousers of her husband, Joseph Chilakolako, 35.

Blantyre Police public relations officer Elizabeth Divala has said that the wife lodged a complaint at the station after confirming that the two had sexual intercourse.

“The woman is said to have noticed strange wetness on the trousers of her husband and that there was a smell of sperms when she returned in the house, which made her suspect that the man had just had sex.

“Since there was only their daughter in the house, she did not hesitate to go to her daughter’s bedroom where she inserted her finger into the private part of the girl and discovered wetness and smell of sperms.  This is when she took the girl to hospital for medical evidence,” she explained.

Chilakolako, who hails from Ntcheu, is said to have started having sex with the daughter last year. He has since been remanded to Chichiri police waiting for trial, and would likely face a charge of incest, among others.

The development has since attracted condemnation from the general public through the social networks who link the act to charms and rituals.

Said one commentator: “This is shameful and an act of stupidity. He deserves a bitter punishment otherwise he has ruined the future of the girl”

Another person who claims to know the accused say that the person has three children with his wife and other two children with another woman and wonders what type of libido he holds to force him be having sex with his own teenager.
