Maranatha Academy offers Ireen Navicha Masters scholarship in India

Maranatha Academy has offered a scholarship to study for a Master’s degree at Sharda University in India to Ireen Navicha, who represented Malawi at the Miss World pageant in Vietnam.

Announcing the scholarship, Maranatha Academy Director Dr Ernest Kawonga said the gesture was a way of honouring Navicha, a former student of the school, for representing Malawi well at the competition.

Navicha finished in the top 40 at the Miss World 2026 pageant, and was also ranked among the top 20 contestants from Africa.
