Masterminder of Simama Hotel fracas arrested
The Malawi Police have said they have arrested a masterminder of the Simama Hotel fracs, Lloyd Frayer, aged 40, from Kadzidzi Village, in the area of Traditional Authority Mazengera in Lilongwe.
Central Region Police Public Relations Officer, Ramsy Mshani said Flayer was picked following the Police investigations which revealed that he was the one who organised the damage attacks at the hotel.
“Indeed I can confirm that Police has indeed arrested Mr Loyd Frayer, and we want him to explain why he incited people using false statements by lying about the girl,” said Mshani.
Mshani said the police has charged Frayer with a case of inciting violence which could lead to damage of the property.
“As Police we will be taking him to court soon in accordance with the laws of Malawi,” said Mshani.
Lilongwe Police Station, officers also picked two girls for questioning for admitting that they were sent to Simama Hotel to lie that they were looking for their friend whom they said had gone to the hotel with a man earlier in the day in one of the hotel rooms.

I dont understand the subject matter of this story.
I am handicapped to proffer an intelligent argument owing to the fact that I missed story when it broke. I however feel that the police are not handling this matter impartially. One gets the impression that the police have established beyond any reasonable doubt that the incident ever took place, and therefore feel duty bound to arrest Frayer. The problem there is with jumping into conclusions in this day and age is that clever lawyers can exploit certain weaknesses in the procedures and make government pay. Secondly, police should not be seen to side with the rich and probably use the financially weak in society as convenient scapegoats. Everyone is equal on the face of law.

. . . Although the story is not making sense with its many inconsistencies, any person who is compos mentis can connect the dots of what happened. The little girl was there at Simama’s hotel with some shameless old dog for an intense fuck n the other two girls came to take her out hence the havoc. Simple!

If these police could work in this way to every citizen who is attacked on false allegations, then people ,jelousy communities could stop such actions.It is a pity that people lose lives,property and get confused when a such thing happens.The churches ,mosques and other institutions do not talk about openly.How could the government make no arrest where there is property damage and lose of live, this is encouraging mob attacks.Atleast a remand of 12months should be given to anyone seen participating on mob
