MBC’s Joy the DJ ready to ‘set BBA House on fire’

Malawi Broadcasting Corporation’s (MBC), Joy the DJ will perform at Big Brother Africa (BBA, Africa’s biggest reality show in South Africa this  Friday, November 21, 2014.

While confirming the development, MultiChoice Malawi Sale and Marketing Manager Chimwemwe Nyirenda said it would be opportune time for Malawi to shine and showcase its talent.

Nyirenda hoped that Joy the DJ, born Joy Nanthu will also take his time to give a platform to Malawian songs.

On his part Joy the DJ, probably one of the finest radio personality, said he is ready to set the house on fire and show his skills on the turntable.

“I am ready, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and be assured of more Malawians songs in the house,” said he.

Other DJs who performed in previous BBA reality shows are DJ Kenny Clips, Pink Panther and DJ Malick, who presented the country in the ongoing reality show alongside Sipe.

DJ Malick, who rebranded to Mr 265 a few months before to going to BBA, was evicted on Sunday after 42 day-stay in the house.

Mr 265’s eviction left the country’s other representative Sipe and Zimbabwe’s Butterfly in tears.

He was putting on the chopping board alongside four other hotshots including Goitse who was also shown the exist door.

South Africa’s Samantha, who was added to the list by Sipe, who used her powers as Head of the House, was also evicted.

The 63-day reality show ends next month and with the eviction Mr. 265 and Samantha, 12 housemates are remaining, 26 housemates entered the house and so far 14 have been evicted.

The winner will walk away with $300,000 cash.

A right person at a right time….Joy rocks!!! its not a mistake sending him, but prepare more Malawian hit songs and throw them properly …..great!!!!
