Kapolo Kambani, you don’t understand the dynamics of Malawi;s politics. Since multiparty dispensation the middle class has the power to influence voters in the rural areas. In other words, villagers on their own are not able to make an informed decision, but follow what you and me will tell them and they take the message very seriously. So if you ignore what is being written on this forum , you are lost completely and you will see come 2019.

Hahaha MCP manyazi bwaa! Chimene mumatulukiracho ndiye chachitika? Desperate fools you are. Pathetic attention seekers. With your foolish 50+1 thing, MCP should forget of ruling this country for ever. Do you think the people who voted for DPP and made it win from outside government are dead? Tilipobetu. And that time, Katsonga, Mzomera, Msonda, Chimunthu, Kutsaira, UDF,PP etc etc were not for DPP. Now we have made more inroads all over Malawi than ever before. DPP shall win 2019 regardless of the electrol system that shall be used. Of all parties, can a sane person really vote for the bloody… Read more »

Nachisale , you are cheating your self. If you don’t see that the writing is on the wall, then you have a serious problem with your reasoning capacity. MCP is winning come 2019 because this is the party which shows that it her the welfare of Malawians at heart.

one thing DPP should bear in mind is that it is not good loosing innocent blood as it happened in the past. Avoid DEMONSTRATIONS BY bringing the bill to parliament. Accept the defeat (A Malawi siyimafuna kubweredza zoipa zomwe tinaziona ) Please learn from Zimbabwe

IN MY OPINION, Malawi is not ready for this 2nd-round electral system refered to as 50%+1 . Its costly and has more implications than the FPTP we are using now. We all want the same a good Malawi for all and it can not start with this 50+1 sellout. WE HAVE MORE PROBLEMS TO SOLVE

If 50%+1 is expensive, why did we have multiparty. Then let’s go back to one party system with MCP as ruling party. Who said multiparty is cheap. 50% is good bcoz it will encourage collective governance unlike the present system which just encourages nepotism.

Well done my MCP MPs. U have fought a winning battle as dpp has accepted to table the bill. It’s a known fact that they are afraid of 50+1 coz akudziwa kale kuti dpp ulendo uno wawoyo sangapeze not even 30%.
Dr. Chakwera, Malawi is more than ready to give u 60% come 2019.

MCP that was job well done. This confused DPP led government, is really taking Malawians for granted. It’s high time you teach them a lesson that Malawians are tired of their thieving(Prince of thieves) . This DPP (DISORGANISED PEOPLES’ PARTY) party is not for Malawians but for the few retired old people to enjoy stealing from poor Malawians. DPP watch your STEPS. If Kaliati has left your party, that tells you that all is not well withyour failed DPP. Grace Chiumia watch and guard your foul mouth, otherwise it will haunt you for the rest of your life, if your… Read more »

Ha! Ha! Ha! Complete charlatans. 50+1 is USELESS. MCP should focus on real issues instead of cheap politicking. People need medicine, good schools and roads etc. how dare you focus on 50+1 an issue that is a NON-STARTER. We are watching you MCP MPs. Come 2019, we will vote you out.

110 from where? kikikikikikikik. You don’t know politics. You are talking about paper politics. What you are writing here anthu a kumudzi omwe anavotera DPP sakudziwona ndi kumva. Remember DPP is working underground at grassroot level while you are wasting time talking about 50+1. DPP is clever, the bills will pass, DPP initiated them and they will pass them. Keep on wasting time. Those who have
ears should hear this.

You people can you compare the money which has been wasted through corruption, gensets and so forth yet there are no medicines in hospitals. How do you qualify 50 + 1 to be expensive when you have not tried it? Indeed all along I thought people just didn’t like DPP but now I can see. Interconnection is an answer to blackouts. Hon. Mhone of PP had to direct the whole cabinet on interconnection. Now they have to go to the cheaper route of interconnection where were they and what made them to go to genset stealing basi. Mhone hoooyeee good… Read more »
