MCP youth spread festive cheer at Mangochi hospital
The main opposition Malawi Congress Party (MCP) youths on Saturday cheered the sick and distributed various food items worth K754, 000 at Mangochi District Hospital.
The patients and hospital authorities expressed gratitude to the MCP for the donation.
MCP Director of Youth Lobin Lowe said the youths decided to visit the hospital after noting that various challenges patients face.
“Our President Dr Lazarus Chakwera sent us here to cheer the patient,” said Lowe.
“Last year we were at Kamuzu Central Hospital it means next year we will be in the north,” said Lowe.
Some of items distributed to the patients were; SOBO, rice and soap.

This is better than the torture and killings Mangochians went thru during the rule of MCP. I think the party should also have a program to apologise to the people of Mangochi who were traumatised by this ‘mighty’ party that went onthe spree of torturing innocent people in Mangochi.

Many of our relatives in Mangochi keep telling us that they will never forgive the Party of “Nyakula” and the “Black Cock” for all those atrocities.
Many sons of Mangochi were exterminated by that dictator, HKB. To lionize him and to valorize his Party is the greatest insult to Mngochians! Do not count on these empty gestures, without sincere apologies, to redeem MCP in that District. And elsewhere, for that matter.

Let’s do a programme of these events. They should not just be for xmas. These could be monthly, involve well wishers please. Don’t do things in the darkness. There are many of us willing and waiting to help, but we lack the leadership, so pls lead us. Thank you very much.
