MIJ reinstates reporter fired over ‘Peter Mutharika clip’
The Malawi Institute of Journalism board of directors has swallowed its pride and reinstated Reporter Joseph Mwale whom it fired for allegedly recording and leaking ‘Miseche’conservation Peter Mutharika was caught slandering other DPP officials and playing tribal politics, Nyasa Times hasestablished.
MIJ has also relocated Mwale to its Lilongwe Bureau. Mwale confirmed his come back in SMS messages to friends and colleagues.
“The MIJ board heard my case and finally justice has prevailed,” Mwale said.
Mwale was accused of invading the privacy of Peter Mutharika.
